THE
POWER OF WATER
Travelling photo
exhibition
Travelling photo
exhibition "The
Power of Water" aims
to promote industrial
heritage and to stimulate
interest in it among
local community or other
involved people, who can
stabilize or even improve
the standing of the
industrial heritage.
This exhibition shows
more than 50 Lithuanian
water mills, which were
photographed in 1965-1966
and 2002. Comparing those
photos everyone can
imagine development or
decline of those water
mills and even make
presumptions about their
future.
The exhibition already
visited Department of
Cultural Heritage
Protection (Vilnius),
Klaipeda's shipyard
during Nordic-Baltic
course "Changing
Perspectives - Industrial
Heritage and Urban
Transformation"
(Klaipeda) and Palace of
the Government of the
Republic of Lithuania
(Vilnius). Some other
institutions still
waiting for the
exhibition.
If you want
to see the exhibition
"The Power of
Water" in your
organization, just contact
us.

The project The
Power of water is
part of a larger
Nordic-Baltic project Industrial
Heritage Platform, funded by the Nordic Council
of Ministers.
